Elon Takes over Twitter??

 

As I'm sure you all know by now Elon Musk has had major interest in buying twitter recently, and this is due to him wanting to have "free speech" on the app.  This would be interesting because the first thing that comes to everyone's mind is that he is going to unban former President Donald Trump.  This seems like might not be the best idea considering some of his tweets from the past that may or may have not incited violence.  Many people on social media think this is going to be a terrible idea because you are going to have one of the richest men in the world run a social media app.  However, there are many problems with the Twitter app, and the app to its core has changed over the past 4 or 5 years.  I remember when i first downloaded twitter back in 2011 or 2010, and your timeline would go in chronological order from top to bottom.  However, now the algorithm has tweets from three days ago pop up at the top of my timeline, and then right beneath that tweet is a tweet from 5 minutes ago.  What I am saying is that Twitter's algorithm is setup to show you viral tweets, or tweets they think you will be interested in.  However, I am only interested in the 300 people I follow and would love if Elon Musk was able to change the algorithm to show tweets in chronological order, without the ads on my timeline.  The last thing that I know is that Musk is planning on offering a large sum of money to the shareholders of Twitter, and it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
